The Discogs Top 50 Best Selling Records Of October 2017

Only days before we land in 2018, we can share with you the best selling records of October 2017. As always, the almighty Diognes_The_Fox got it ready for all our community to enjoy.

It was with a heavy heart that music lovers around the world heard about the passing of Tom Petty on October 2. While his death was received with great sadness by our community of music lovers, seeing the American rock icon topping our chart is beautiful.  And what a homage: the list is packed with his records! Ten releases by Tom Petty either solo or with any of his groups made it to our top. Only on the Top 10, we can already find four of these records. Big love from the Discogs community for the American rock legend.

October was also a month were new releases graced this chart with their presence. The new records by Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet), King Krule, Brand New, and Kamasi Washington all made it to our Top 50.

    Wow…….so many from a long time ago, and Tom Petty dominating it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????

    I’ve had 29 of the 50…………..though only own 22 of the 50 now
