Still recovering from Record Store Day Black Friday 2017? Our chart is! But slowly coming back to normal, as you will see.
The previous week, we found the most beloved record by RSD Black Friday 2017 crowning this list. This week, the Canadian legend drops to the fifth position. Yes, you guessed it, we are speaking of Neil Young.
These last weeks, we have been seeing how some artists are consistently remaining on the list thanks to releases that have resonated with the audience: St. Vincent, Nine Inch Nails, Brand New, and Morrissey; all of them have been around for some weeks and it doesn’t look like they are planning to leave anytime soon.
Last week, we welcomed the latest records by Björk and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and it looks like these records keep selling at a good pace; Björk remains in the Top 3 while Noel falls to the #4.
And you might be wondering: what’s new on the list? Well, we have three new entries. We don’t want to spoil the surprise, so we are just going to let you know that our #2 goes to a rapper whose latest record name we’d better avoid writing in this blog post. And our new number 1 shouldn’t come as a big surprise: they are everywhere at the moment and they have just released their 14th album this week – do you know who are we talking about? Find it at the bottom of the list!
