Won’t you please, please help me…

The Discogs Community Support team is always happy to help with Marketplace and Database questions, however sometimes the answer you need may be available without needing to wait for a staff response.
Here are a few tips:

1. Search our Help Documents.

We have recently improved our site’s help search and added several new topics, so finding the answers you need should be easier than ever before. We’ve divided the help section in to categories, so navigating to a specific document should also be easier if you would rather browse for subjects in that way.

We have also added new videos to some of our help documents. We currently have several videos available for new buyers and new sellers, and we plan to continue to release videos explaining more features soon. Here is our quick “How to Buy” tutorial:

2. Search our Help Forums.

You can limit your Forum search by General, Marketplace, Database, Development, or API topics depending on what you are looking for. We have added the ability to limit your search by date, so you can also limit your search to recent topics. If you are posting in the Forum, please be sure to follow our Community Guidelines. These guidelines were updated recently, so please be sure to review them if you haven’t already.

3. Still can’t find what you are looking for? Open a Support Request.

From our main support portal, when you start typing in a subject, a list of topics will auto-populate based on what you type.

If none of these subjects answer your question, please just provide us with a full description of your question or problem, and our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.

From our support portal, you can also check the status of recent support requests you have submitted. And guess what? We even have a help document explaining our support system if you find that process confusing.
