We have a new number one for the month of June! Pap Emeritus and his playfully demonic Swedish provocateurs Ghost unseated Dark Side… with their fourth LP, which hit at the beginning of June. This is the first time since October 2017 that a Pink Floyd record wasn’t at number one! German DJ Skee Mask also barnstormed the top five with his ambient soundscapes and bouncy breakbeats. The most interesting entry in the top 50 best selling records for June comes from one of the biggest bands in the world: The Rolling Stones. Their 1978 LP Some Girls cracked the top 50, and somehow that was the first time ever. It’s also nice to see Nu Guinea’s tribute to their native Naples, Nuova Napoli, continue to gain some steam.
