Weekly Top 40 Trending Releases

Week of March 28th

The Raconteurs lead for the 2nd week in a row with their Live in Tulsa album offered through Third Man Records Vault club.

Tame Impala’s “polished disco-funk” album The Slow Rush moves back up to the #2 spot this week.

Caroline Rose’s Superstar holds strong at #3, Under the Radar dubs it “an ambitious album that is one part a swaggering come-up story and one part reflective vulnerability.”

Morrissey‘s I Am Not A Dog On A Chain debuts at #4, and Pitchfork says it’s “mildly captivating, occasionally repetitive, and frequently ridiculous.”

Blackalicious’ 2002 album Blazing Arrow stays in the #5 spot – 1 of 7 vinyl club offerings to appear on the list.

Most notably, DIO appears four times with the CD reissues of his 1996-2004 studio albums: Angry Machines (1996), Magica (2000), Killing The Dragon (2002) and Master Of The Moon (2004). Courtesy of BMG and Niji Entertainment Group Inc., these newly remastered versions feature rare and never before released live and studio bonus tracks.
