Weekly Top 40 Trending Releases

Week of March 7th

Ozzy Osbourne’s Ordinary Man becomes the #1 rock album in the world and narrowly leads the Discogs Top 40 at #1 as well.

Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush coasts into the #2 spot this week, though Variety calls it “arguably Parker’s most fully realized and satisfying effort to date.”

GrimesMiss Anthroposcene holds at #3, dubbing her sound on her latest offering “ethereal nu metal,” you be the judge.

Three vinyl club editions remain with The RootsPhrenology dropping to #9 and Aretha Franklin’s Aretha Now drops to #20 in position over last week.  A new addition of El-P‘s I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead emerges at #23 for the first time.

And as noted by our wonderful Discogs community, a number of CDs and one digital version have also placed on the most collected charts for this week including Porcupine Tree, Tycho, and Kvelertak among others.

Check out the rest of the list and keep adding to your collection!
